Cyclical: occurring or rteeaped in cycles. My point is that each party continues the argument that there can be no solutions until their party controls congress again. I find that to be the biggest flaw and most crippling effect of the two-party system—especially now. The inability of even a single Republican, except Senator Snowe, to come to the table and work with the administration on this issue is an example of that. Looking forward, I believe independent candidates will have a larger part in changing this cycle than any staged events ever will. The party of “know” should know that.
