njtaxpayer 4: The vote was lopsided beacsue even people who knew it was a scam voted for it so the opposition couldn't run ads againt them in the fall saying they tried to block tax relief. What does it say about voters that we would fall for that?As for how they voted, it is an individual paper's decision. Some run votes in the paper or on their web sites. We put it in an online update yesterday for the 20 percent solution bill. Also, if you go to the Legislature's web site (www.njleg.state.nj.us) click on downloads at the top, then click the link for legislative votes and you can download a zip file, A2007. That gets votes for 2007. Then you unzip it and get a text file which you can then import into Microsoft Excel or some such. Could they make it easier for you? Of course. Will they? Not unless enough people demand it.As to the eight who didn't vote for the 20 percent scam: Votes against the bill were cast by Assembly members Marcia Karrow,R-Hunterdon; Louis Manzo, D-Hudson; Richard Merkt, R-Morris; Eric Munoz, R-Union; MichaelPatrick Carroll, R-Morris; Jon Bramnick, R-Union; Michael Doherty, R-Warren; andSteve Corodemus, R-Monmouth. Assemblyman Joseph Egan, D-Middlesex, was absent.
