Hi Tom. This add-on for Firefox is not portable' to other bweosrrs, since it uses internal Firefox functions to know the progress of the upload. It's open source just download and browse the package, but I doubt you can reuse any of the code in other bweosrrs.There is no easy solution for your problem, you will always need a function on the server side that makes a stat' meaning that it checks the size of the file being uploaded and on the client side (javascript) a periodic ajax that reads the current state and updates some indicator on the page.
