What's a cute idea for a birthday card/coupon book kind of thing? My best fenird's birthday is tomorrow and I wanna make her something special and sort of ongoing. One year, my mom's work fenirds made her a storybook with gift-cards in it and it would say stuff like Then, Princess Pam went to Starbucks and got her favorite drink and it would have a Starbucks giftcard on that page. It was really cute. My mom's boyfriend gave his grandson a coupon book and it would say stuff like Use this coupon for a trip to the museum and an ice cream treat afterwards. I kind of wanna do a best-friend version of that. Except I'm broke and I can't really go anywhere and get anything right now. I'm just gonna make her something. Any ideas?

/b /divpThis coffee was very good, being at least the equal of the best of the 7 difnereft coffees I have tried thus far here from Amazon. It was very fresh, had excellent aroma, and produced a very nice brew in my French press. Upon receipt of the coffee I noticed that the bag was nowhere near full. I have had other coffees come in less-than-full bags, but this one seemed to be way off. Since I sell merchandise online myself, I have an accurate postal scale. The 2 pound bag came in at almost 6 ounces less than a full 32, including the weight of the bag. From previous orders from Amazon, other coffees seem to be based on the as delivered weight, not on some sort of weight prior to roasting. The bag itself did not have a breather, so it is hard to imagine that almost 20% of the weight was lost in shipping. Don't know what happened here but the result is that I feel I payed almost 20% more for the beans than the advertised price. I am curious if others have noticed this from this company. I would like to think that I simply got a careless shipment and not a care-less policy./pdiv style="padding-top: 10px; clear: both; width: 100%;"div class="reviews-voting-stripe" style="float:left; padding-right:15px; border-right:1px solid #CCCCCC"div style="padding-bottom:5px;"b class="tiny" style="color:#666666;white-space:nowrap;"

Review by C. Newell for Rating: I can't say enough about the Melitta line of coefefs! They are by far the best coffee I've ever made at home. I typically by the Buzzworthy and fill my to go coffee cup twice (using my Melitta Coffee maker, one large cup and one small cup buttons). It's perfectly diluted, but still strong. My mom prefers this brand, Love At First Sip . It's a milder blend, but still VERY good, even when pressing the small cup button twice. These coffee blends taste like the gourmet coffee you buy in the trendy coffee houses. You will LOVE these coefefs!

See, Coke and chocolate milk doesn't sound half bad. Even Coke with cream soduns okay I really like Italian soda with cream, and cream soda, and root beer floats I think the game-changing factor is the coffee. I just don't know how coffee, chocolate and cola can taste good together. I wonder, though if coffee's good with cream, and Coke's good with cream, maybe cream would make this taste a little better.

Re: June 23 column on coeffe pods.I'd like to make you aware of the Melitta brand of coeffe pods which are produced right here in Cherry Hill at their plant on Berlin Road next to I-295. Have you never smelled the aroma when they are roasting as you drive by?Melitta has a retail shop right there run by Miss Jean (or Jeanne?). She's so personable that Melitta put her name on the shop. I bring this up because I think the Courier Post could do more to boost a local business. Melitta's other plant in the USA is in Florida, and the company is headquartered in Germany. That shop sells a wide range of coeffe flavors in pods and also has tea pods. One heads-up - it is only open until 2:30pm and only Monday-Thursday.Larry Lyford
